 In
this era of social transformation, Producer/Writer/
Director, Alejandra Duque, welcomes
the challenges presented with the eyes of an artisan,
the compassion of a humanitarian, and a tenacious
commitment to detail that can only be earned by
one who has truly paid “their dues”
working through the Hollywood food-chain. These
qualities lend to her resolute commitment to create
work environments that cater to individuals who
understand that only a team or nuclear-family
can produce socially responsible films capable
of transcending the tactics too often used to
entertain our post-modern society. Alejandra does
not give up. A simple and evident fact she attributes
to her mother.
Alejandra
has written, directed and produced 150 episodes
of the highly successful show “Secretos”
currently airing in KRC Channel 62,. She has
also produced a season of the hit T.V show Camino
a La Justicia currently airing in KAZA 54, and
most recently wrote and directed a “Francisco
Chavez Detective Privado” a show that
has completely revolutionized the Latino entertainment
market. Furthermore, she has directed and Produced
various projects for the main stream media,
Including music videos that are now airing in
Germany, and in the US.
Currently
Alejandra is working with the prolific Author
& Visionary, Beth Fortman-Brand on “Love
Happens” – a feature film based
on her book, The Power of Love: Living from
Our Hearts. Additionally, the pair have several
other projects in various stages of development.
Alejandra says, There is enough in this world
for all of us on earth to be happy and fullfill
our dreams. Only our deluded mind creates a
world of scarcity, in which we compete, pray
and kill one another for power, fame and fortune.
We believe that we are so small when in reality
we are all magnificent. The universe is vast
and over flowing with abundance and is an exact
replica of ourselves. We are all "ONE".
Through my work I want to express and all shades
of our humanity both good and bad without judgement.
I will further expand my work based on the truth
that "LOVE" at the end is what we
are here to experience in this human body and
everything else is just a divine mess. I wish
